Private Home
The Marula Residence is an exercise in restraint — a home designed to disappear into its surroundings, where light, proportion, and texture become the true ornamentation. It stands as a retreat from the chaos of urban rhythm, a space where quietness has structure.
Every element was reduced to its essential form. Stone, limewash, and soft oak converge in balanced contrast — raw yet calm, tactile yet weightless. The house was not designed to impress but to endure, to age with grace and honesty.
The architecture finds poetry in stillness. Courtyards capture fragments of sky, while diffused openings turn daylight into material. In silence, the house speaks.
Reflection: Calm is not absence — it’s the highest form of precision.
